Sponsor 16 orphan girls

In Zanzibar, your donations have been changing the daily lives of an entire local community since last year:

🆗 funding for a plastic recycling training center including various equipment, a library, and even a community vegetable garden

🆗 participation in the construction of an orphanage that can accommodate 16 children

⚠️… We now have the opportunity to take care of the girls!

Since the opening of Jendele orphanage opened, around ten children have already been fostered in by a safe and family environment to offer them a stable and dignified childhood, essential conditions for their future development:

As with all children around the world, each month we need to cover the costs of:

How did these little girls end up in an orphanage?

Because of a traumatic event, such as the death of a parent due to illness or a workplace accident, or a divorce that disrupts the family stability, which is already fragile due to poverty. Unfortunately, there are far too many homeless children left to fend for themselves because they no longer have a family or because their family cannot afford to support them.

What is their life like today?

The girls’ brand new home is built with sustainable materials suited to the climate of Zanzibar. It includes a large living room, a kitchen, a laundry room, and a playroom inside. A swing has also been installed outside. The girls are housed in eight bedrooms equipped with bunk beds. On a daily basis, everything is managed by women from the community who cook and take care of the girls.
