Paris face to heatwave
More details about this project
Paris face to heatwave
In June 2026, France experienced a heatwave comparable to that of the summer of 2003. Because of climate imbalance, solidarity with isolated people and those who are homeless or living in poor housing conditions is a necessity.
Thanks to your donations, we will be able to distribute the following to 120 people:
➡️ water and refreshing drinks
➡️ spray bottles that can be filled for free at the many drinking water points available in Île-de-France, particularly in Parisian railway stations
➡️ ice lollies for children from families staying at a shelter in Noisy-le-Grand
➡️ one-way mirror filters to help reduce the perceived heat inside the prefabricated accommodation units at this shelter
In addition, our charity partner will be able to provide a home-cooked meal prepared on site in the shelter’s kitchens by the beneficiaries themselves, as they are actively involved in the initiative.
📢 Reminder: Seed is a unique nonprofit founded BY donors FOR donors and involved where it is needed with NO management fees from your donation
