Orphanage under construction
People of Jendele, Zanzibar, face many challenges: limited access to quality education, women’s lack of financial autonomy not to mention environmental problems.
Together, we can support the finishing work of an orphanage to house 16 little girls identified by the authorities! 3 of the 8 rooms planned are already ready. Built with sustainable materials and adapted to the climate, it will include a large living room, kitchen, laundry and playroom. The orphanage will be managed by a woman from the community.
Seed is committed to supporting self-sufficiency projects for local populations: this orphanage is part of an autonomous village project including
a training center for 500 villagers to recycle 5 tons of plastic each year
Total budget: €9,041
📢 Reminder: Seed is a unique international non-profit with NO management fees from your donation
€1 raised = €1 to support the project, and only the project
