Seed Iftar project

Every year, 25% of the people in the world fast a whole month, Ramadhan, even though they are helpless because of poverty, war, climate or all at once. 

Repeated droughts and famines in the Horn of Africa, conflicts and exoduses in the Middle East: how many of them consider the following staple foodstuffs as luxuries?

❌ rice

❌ flour

❌ oil

❌ sugar

Since the beginning in 2020, Seed has funded thousands of hot meals and food parcels

Again this year, we can provide Iftars and send hope!

Example: our charity partner in Yemen, Syria and Palestine* is now providing 300 iftars per day (= meals for 2 to 3 people) thanks to local food kitchens. Staff prepare hot meals on the spot and take into account local conditions (availability of foodstuffs, cost of packaging, transport and distribution costs).
