Mayotte Cyclone Emergency
In Mayotte, France’s poorest department, the humanitarian disaster is still hard to assess two weeks after the devastation caused by cyclone Chido. Even running water has not been restored.
In support of a distressed population who lost everything, Seed is wording with one of its charity partners in La Réunion to provide emergency aid as quickly as possible:
- food help: water, powdered milk, baby and infant milk (chocolate/strawberry/banana), rice, flour, canned goods (tomatoes, lentils, beans, sardines, tuna), pasta, noodles, oil, sugar
- hygiene products: baby diapers, soap, shower gel, toothbrushes, shampoo, etc.

Update end January 2025: the cyclone has brought devastation on people who were already helpless! Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to send several containers and water to support 200 families: canned food, milk, large bags of rice, etc. and hygiene products of course. Let’s keep up the good job! 💪
