For the heart of 2 years old Youcef
Born in 2021 with aortic valve abnormality, Youcef already underwent important but unsuccessful surgical procedures in Algeria. The treatments didn’t work in his situation and his health is a concern.
Professor Roland Henaine and his team from fetal, pediatric and adult cardiology and congenital heart disease department at Louis Pradel hospital in Lyon are ready to perform surgery on him.
This project will cover:
– the professor’s fees
– one week hospitalization costs (surgery and after surgery care)
Total budget: 22 300 €
The achievement in image
Good news from Youcef received in October 2023! He went through surgery in August, it was successful. Then he was kept under observation during his recovery and now his family can see the changes: his complexion is better, he doesn’t get out of breath compared to before and he doesn’t fall sick!
