Ramadhan project

🌙 Increased food aid in Gaza and Somalia, on the Chad-Sudan border, and in Algeria: every year, Seed is committed to help the most vulnerable. Together, we can provide iftars and food parcels.

For Ramadhan 2026, we have chosen to focus our efforts on four regions of the world with different contexts but the same urgent need: to enable families in need to get through this month with dignity.

Gaza

After more than two years of normalized genocide, the Palestinians continue to suffer. Our charity partner provides support to more than 500 displaced persons. Every evening for 30 days of Ramadhan, hot meals (soup and a different dish each day) will be cooked on site and distributed.

Will my donation reach Gaza?

Yes, our charity partner is still operating there! It works with a pool of recognized international NGOs, which means it can transfer money from France and bring in food.

Somalia

À In Mogadishu, the capital, poor families live in tents or makeshift shelters. Many are single women with children. Together, we can distribute staple food to them, as we did for Ramadhan 2024 :

• bag of rice (12.5 kg), bag of flour (25 kg), bag of sugar (10 kg), can of oil (5L), package of dates (2kg)

Chad-Sudan border 

In the camps of Milé and Kourssigué, Sudanese refugees are surviving after fleeing the war. Here are the food parcels we can distribute to them:  

• bag of wheat flour (5 kg), bag of penicillate millet (25 kg), bag of sugar (5 kg), can of oil (5L), bag of salt (2 kg)

Algeria

Food parcels will be distributed to poor families supported by our local partner association in four provinces in the center, west, and center of the country: Ain Sallah, El Menia, Timimoun, and Tiaret.

This year again, let’s offer 30 days of iftars and food parcels for people fasting and their families!
